New Years Blogging Goals: SEO Tweaks, Scheduling, Collabs and More We Can Learn From

What are your New Year’s Blogging Goals?

News Years often makes me feel like the blogging glass is half empty.

I see other bloggers launched a bagillion new courses and touting subscriber counts and forget where I stand in the pack.

But really the most important thing to do as the year ends is remember all you’ve created and make a vow to double down on what worked best.

That said, ere’s my list of New Years blogging goals for 2020!

New Years Blogging Goals 2020

  1. Focus on Google snippets using Structure Content plugin – Neil Patel recently released tips on writing FAQs into the bottom of your posts to get listed higher in the Google previews. I’m of older guides with outdated info beating our articles, and I’d be you feel the same way to on your blog so this plugin can help you right the get your rankings back up!
  2. Schedule harder – Released the new posts with newsletter every Tuesday, instead of surprising you guys on a Wednesday or Thursday. Along with that, get the sleep routine down, if not just for long-term healthiness for the sake of controlling the speed of time 🙂
  3. Collab more – I’m always happiest when I have a YouTube or blogging collab in the works. Then once done, it’s easy to let time slider. I want to always have the next collab in the works. Got an idea? Email me.
  4. Share great content more – Important links from other blogs to our Facebook Group.
  5. Facebook Group 1000 – Get those members up and discussion regular so you guys feel comfortable just posting away at any time on the Group wall.
  6. Always have a book on the nightstands – One I’m actually reading each night!
  7. Restructure SEO on the blog – As you probably know from your blog, SEO is easier at first, but once you add 20 plugins and 20 guest authors and leave your theme unchanged, things can get a little scary in terms of internal SEO.
  8. Showcase our Authors better – We have dedicated pages but I want to take each Author’s presence to a new level.
  9. Awards – DearBlogger awards have always been an idea in the back pocket. It’s so easy to create badges and trophies in a virtual sense and have those awards to the right blogs for doing great work!
  10. Live trainings – If not hold them then at least attend one once per month. WordCampUS in St. Louis was a big inspiration here.

How about you? What’s next on your blogging agenda? What goal would you consider to be the most rewarding to achieve? The most challenging?
